Facebook Meta Platforms Earnings plunge more than 20% - Nasdaq Futures Short

Capstone Trading

I trade Nasdaq futures. I don't trade Facebook. When the Nasdaq futures drop like this at the end of the day, you wonder why. The Nasdaq futures (NQ) have a heavy weighting for Facebook (FB). The earnings report shows a 20% drop on weak earnings with a big forecast miss. I show you how to view after hours data in Tradestation 10. You can't see the chart plot Facebook earnings in the after hours unless you use the custom session. I show you how to view Facebook earnings along with Nasdaq futures. Our VSD Breakout was already short. The Nasdaq futures postured higher all day trying to create Fed stimulated V Reversals on its own. Facebook - Meta Platform earnings brings it back down.
