Live and Hypothetical Trading System Signals on October 18, 2022 - Bullish Price Action

Capstone Trading

This is one of those markets that if you are convinced the market should go down and keep shorting it, you might get burned pretty good. We take both long and short trades and are flat at the end of the day.

While the fundamentals are bearish in my opinion and it felt like the short side never had a complete cycle of selling intra-day, we are in a bullish time of year and there seems to be money coming into the market determined to drive prices higher.

Historical seasonals tells us that most of the stock market gains are from October through April.

The tone could change tomorrow but it feels like this market is about to rally higher into the end of the year. I don't recommend trading on the previous statements but following a trading system that could take advantage of those moves if they do happen - such as the Stock Index Portfolio 20.

We are waiting for a drawdown in the hypothetical trading system signals to begin trading all 20 strategies in the Stock Index Portfolio 20.

While we are waiting, we are trading the Robot 2022 NQ live.

Robot 2022 NQ and live results for today are -$344.90 today in the 200K Portfolio and down -$92.75 in the 50K Portfolio. The hypothetical results for the portfolio are -$437.50 in the 200K Portfolio and -$131.25 in the 50K Portfolio.
