Bull or Bear Market?

Are we in a Bull or Bear Market?

In my opinion we have been in neither a bull or bear market but a period of re-pricing. Even though the technical definition of a bear market is met, the intra-day price action hasn't represented a bear market.

I believe we are moving towards bear market price action. The concept of gradually and then suddenly is represented here.

The Nasdaq can't handle many more 500 point down days though. It would take only 22 to take it to 0.

We do this sort of analysis to determine if we should take both long and short trades. Today is more in line with the type of day that we typically see in a bear market.
