Daily Trading System Results - April 20, 2022

50K Portfolio 1 Micro SI 25 (LIVE) = -$285

200K Portfolio 6 Micro SI 25 (LIVE) = -$1,725

Sideways price action most of the day with a substantial low at 12:30 pm EST. After good gains in March with our updated Stock Index Portfolio 25, we are treading water this month so far with 7 trading days left. The market action most of the day is up even though the indexes are down on the month. Most of the selling has been at night while most of our strategies are day trade.

The Fed's balance sheet hit new all time highs last week 8.965 trillion dollars. The Fed has committed to reducing its balance sheet next month by $95 billion per month or about one trillion per year. (But in the meantime, the balance sheet is still increasing) April is also seasonally strong. These two factors stymie the price action on the downside (propped up) while the lack of conviction and uncertainty about the future stymie the price action on the upside. This is why we continue to see many reversals in the markets.

Netflix sold off 35% after its earnings report yesterday. Tesla rallied in after hours trade today on its earnings report.

12 Nasdaq strategies traded today with 6 winners and 6 losers.

2 S&P strategies traded today with both turning in losses on the day.
