January 17, 2020 Trade Like David Tepper, Keep Riding the Horse

David Tepper was quoted as saying this on CNBC “I love riding a horse that’s running” and continue to do so to a point, Tepper said of the stock market. As a trader and an NFL Owner, you have to really ride the trend when it is strong, even if it “feels” fragile.

In the NFL, it is common to run the same type of strategy until it stops working as well. Our strategies go long and short but mostly long as they keep buying this market. I’m convinced it is better to ride a strong trend and give some back when it reverses rather than trying to call a top.

Join us next week for our webinar.

Our strategies are nimble and have the ability to start shorting the market quickly when the trend changes.
