The stock indexes traded in a steady downtrend throughout the day until the last hour when there was some dip buying. The selling was steep, but controlled, and not flashy or fast. In the Micro Nasdaq, the CME rejected some sell stop orders near the stop loss on V-Reversal. The exchange can reject market and stop market orders in fast markets. We have seen this during fast or flashy markets but we haven't seen it in awhile. It was interesting to see that today considering the market sell off was steady and controlled. Its important to keep an eye on your strategies when the markets are fast. Order rejects, limit moves, and exchange closures are events that could happen in fast markets that have to be managed.

Gold Wave was one of the top strategies today that we talked about last week. It had a long signal on Friday at 3328 and is still long with an open position of about +$16,000 hypothetical. It's the type of trade that would be difficult to hold for a short term trader without a trading strategy. This is a hypothetical trade and a strategy we have been tracking. Some consideration of trading this strategy with a continued trend higher in Gold. Silver is also a consideration.
