New Trading System Release Volume Trend E-mini Nasdaq (NQ)

Capstone Trading

We are releasing a new trading system, the Volume Trend E-mini Nasdaq (NQ), on June 8, 2022.

This strategy was developed in April 2022. We use the Nasdaq volume differences on Nasdaq equities to detect the trend in the Nasdaq. We also confirm with a broader market indicator on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

This strategy can trade the E-mini Nasdaq or Micro Nasdaq futures. This strategy has been added to the Portfolio Calculator. It is not currently in a portfolio but it is part of the All Strategy Access Portfolio. It can trade the E-mini or the Micro Nasdaq futures.

In the video we go over the data settings, input settings, and performance summary. The average trade profit over the last five years is approximately $250 per trade. The average trade profit over the last two years is approximately $350.

Past performance is not indicative of future results but this is a strategy that may be added to one of the portfolios, such as the Stock Index Portfolio 25, in the future.

This strategy is available in Tradestation and Multicharts.

All Strategy Access subscribers will receive this strategy update today.
