Proteus Update

Proteus is a Level II trading system that includes three trading modules that trades short term, one second charts. Each module can be characterized as:


Proteus I - counter trend/reversal

Proteus II - selective trend

Proteus III - more aggressive trend


These are day trade strategies that could be traded on any market. Testing Level II based strategies more involved. The strategy inputs can also be customized, and the strategies can be tested on any market and any timeframe.


The latest updates have been added to the Proteus Members Area and include some improved order management and data listeners to remove unhandled exception errors and crashes.


The latest versions are:

Proteus I - CAPSTONEProteusIV8 - replaces CAPSTONEProteusV6

Proteus II - CAPSTONEProteusIIV3 - replaces CAPSTONEProteusIIV1

Proteus III - CAPSTONEProteusIIIV5 - replaces CAPSTONEProteusIIIV4


The annual subscription remains at an introductory price level of $450 through Sunday and will increase on Monday to $750.



The top performing strategy for the September contract so far is the Proteus II module. Being a more selective trend strategy has been the best approach since mid-June as ranges have quickly contracted.
