Rollover Alert and FOMC Week

Monday is rollover for Stock Index futures. Over the weekend be sure to change the stock index contracts to March 2025. To do this in Tradestation, simply change Z24 to H25 on the data 1 symbols.


Wednesday is FOMC Day. We don't typically trade on FOMC Day and we recommended not trading on FOMC Week last time since it was also election week.


I recommend not trading on FOMC Day this time for Stock Index Portfolio 18. It is possible that this could now become a good day to trade.


I will be researching the best opportunities to trade on FOMC and if this pattern is mean reverting for trend strategies as we have seen nearly all the best trends during times when it is traditionally considered "unwise" to trade, including FOMC, Holidays, Election Week and overnight while the day session has been noisier this year.
