📉 Today marks 21 consecutive days — the longest such streak of the 2020s — as the Nasdaq 100 trades in a tight range while forming a megaphone pattern. The last time this indicator reached such levels was just before the pandemic, peaking at 57 days in a row in early 2020. 🔄 Volatility cycles come and go, but 2025 has been extreme — from a VIX surge and wide daily ranges in April to the lowest volatility in 6 years by July. As of now, it feels like the market hasn't returned from the July 4th holiday.
The hypothetical results for the Portfolios today are:
Stock Index Portfolio 18 = +$240 per E-mini
Two System Portfolio NQ = +$1,085
After two sessions in a row of no trades, V-Reversal was the trade of the day based on a reversal and end of day exit without enough range to hit a profit target. The day session range was only 92 points! We saw the Sunday night gap up from Friday's close to capture the net gain on the day.

📅 This week, starting tomorrow, is packed with economic reports, corporate earnings, and the FOMC meeting on Wednesday. On Friday, August 1, the initial tariff deadlines hit, potentially waking up this unusually quiet market.
The metals had massive ranges and the Silver Portfolio was up on the day about +$250 with 3 strategies trading.
