Trading System Signals on 08/05/2025

The Nasdaq 100 finally moved lower in the after hours (after 4:15 pm EST) and traded below the morning lows. We typically see the market support the morning lows over the past year. It will be interesting to see how long this continues in light of the recent economic data that has generated some new perspective. Historically it is more "normal" to see occasional distribution days where the market trades lower into the day session close, similar to the way we see it trade higher on up days into the close as it did yesterday.

Hypothetical Performance Results for Portfolios:

Stock Index Portfolio 18 = -$2,525 per E-mini

Two System Portfolio NQ = +$2,050 per E-mini

V-Reversal was the strategy of the day with two short trades. Today was a day where both shorts were closed with the Accelerating Trailing Stop Loss but would have done better with just working the initial profit target.
