The summer doldrums of August continue. There isn't a lack of news events or economic releases but the markets remain in a very narrow range without any follow through.


The Nasdaq traded in about a 116 point range after the first hour of trade as market participants turned to the Trump Putin meeting.


Complacency is setting in with a VIX at 15.09.
