Trading System Signals on 02-03-2026

Tuesday's trade has some additional range expansion after 12 noon that was more than what we had been observing in December and January. The market did rally back at the end of the day so that the futures 4:00 pm EST close for the Nasdaq futures was about 25 points from the lows in the first hour of the day session. The low was at 2:09 pm and rallied about 220 points into the close.

The early trade on Wednesday has already broken through the lows of yesterday and it will be interesting to see the way the Nasdaq futures respond to the 25,000 level.

The VIX has been extremely wild and divergent the last few days.

There are many signals that are indicative of a larger pullback in the stock indexes. Sometimes harsh pullbacks can have rapid bounces and a strategy like V-Reversal can take advantage of the long side the way it did today with a long profit.
