Trading System Signals on May 24, 2022 - Gap Continuation and Chop Higher

The lack of a VIX spike seemed to indicate a reversal today with very little follow through selling. The tape felt "scary" and fragile at the open with a gap continuation and I was bracing for a sharp sell off in the market with a VIX spike. Support "magically" came in and propped up the market. The market had a gap down on SNAP earnings. New homes sales were also a disappointing surprise.


With a VIX below 30, I am looking for a move higher overnight and tomorrow. We are ready to trade it either way though and we are flat at the end of the day.
